Since autumn 2000 when Sublime became EPiServer partner, Sublime has implemented more than 70 EPiServer based website projects for 50+ customers. For the majority of the projects we are taking the full project management responsibility, including strategy & specification, design, development & implementation, training & delivery and support. In other projects we work with various partners, ranging from strategy & design agencies to large IT companies, where we usually manage the EPiServer part.
The list of EPiServer customers includes organisations such as: Tele2, Nobia, Locum, Länsstyrelsen i Stockholms län, Setra Group (former AssiDomän Timber), Fujifilm, SULF (Svenska UniversitetsLärarFörbundet), Norstedts Förlagsgrupp (Rabén & Sjögren, Prisma, Tiden etc), Sveriges Radio Förvaltning and many more.
Nobia
Nobia is Europe's leading kitchen company. The Group works with strong brands (such as Poggenpohl, Gower, Magnet, Hygena, Marbodal, Invita, Uno Form and Norema) in many European markets. The Group has about 8,000 employees and net sales of approximately SEK 15 billion. Nobia is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange (NASDAQ OMX).
Almost a year from now, Sublime has assisted in the work of supporting the current public website. The framework and current design has not been developed by us but Nobia has chosen us as their new supplier of web solutions. Since Nobia is a listed company, they get full attention when interims reports are presented or financial webcast audits are held. We make certain that they have the right tools for deliver accurate information on time.
One would consider Nobia’s public website as an IR web, aimed for investors and people with a financial interest. There is integration to Hugin Online regarding press releases and to SIX for stock exchange information. However, during this autumn, Sublime and Milagro will remake the public website. Apart from promoting IR information, the scope will also include a HR section and focus on their brands.
In the beginning of June, we launched an EPiServer based extranet in cooperation with Milagro. This was probably the fastest project in the 10-year-Sublime history. From the start-up meeting to launch, only 14 days elapsed. The extranet will be used to promote internal communication between the 15 business units as well as sharing of best practices and facilitate the search to find contact persons within the business units.
Together with Milagro and in cooperation with Nobia, we formed the strategy for the project including design, functionality and content. We took care of all EPiServer development and implementation and delivered a turn key solution. Training and support has also been part of our commitment.
Öhman Fondkommission
In the autumn 2004, Öhman chose Sublime as supplier of web solutions. Decisive factors were Sublime’s ability to deliver fast, being flexible and possess deep knowledge about EPiServer and web solutions. Over the years and up till now, Sublime has delivered:
- A pre-study and specification for a new public website, including extranet aimed for customers
- Conceptual design development
- Implementation of page templates in EPiServer
- A modular website, launched on various markets and with different languages
- A document solution in EPiServer to handle reports and stock market analysis
- Training and project management
- Ongoing support and development
- (Intranet will be delivered during autumn 2006)
A great challenge was to meet Öhman’s need of flexibility, scalability and the ability to develop the solution simultaneously as Öhman is expanding its business into new markets. All markets have a unique product mix and are supervised by different authorities. To meet that, Sublime developed different modules and templates which allow Öhman to personalise content, depending on where the visitor come from and its access rights.
Svenska Institutet
The Swedish Institute (SI) is a government authority, entrusted with the task to inform the world about Sweden and to organise exchanges with other countries in the spheres of culture, education, research and public life in general. In performing this task, the website www.sweden.se is a cornerstone to promote Swedish interests.
The purpose of the website is to reliably and appealingly inform about Sweden and to facilitate foreigners to find necessary information, which calls for a good search engine and an easy navigation structure.
During spring 2002, a public purchase regarding a total remake of the website was held. The background for this was that SI wanted to be able to publish a larger amount of own editorial content and improve search and navigation functions, in order to facilitate the visitors’ information gathering.
Besides, SI wanted to create an extranet, where users within different organisations for promoting Swedish interests, could come together and access common information, find contacts and consult event calendar. The visitors should also have the possibility to subscribe to newsletters and website updates.
In the purchase, Sublime was chosen as preferred supplier of the new www.sweden.se, which meant that we were responsible for:
- Project management and coordination
- Supplier of the EPiServer software licences
- Strategy advisor in navigation and content structure issues
- Usability of the total solution
- Development of template and requirement specification
- Implementation of templates and specific functionality, based on EPiServer
- Training of editors and administrators
- System integration
SI also chose to purchase our product for picture management, IMT (Image Management Tool). This product was originally developed for Coca-Cola Company Sweden, but is now used by seven other companies including Shell Europe, Arvid Nordquist, Barilla, Wasabröd and Sweden Tourist Board.
The first parts of the solution were delivered in November 2002 and have worked very well. From the beginning, the website was integrated to AFP for news, to SMHI for weather information and to T-kartor (maps).
Since launch, development has continuously been going on. A number of “focused websites” based on the same technical platform (EPiServer), but aimed to specific target groups, such as Young Swedes, Study in Sweden and Sweden Bookshop have been launched.
Autumn 2003 we signed a new frame agreement for continuous delivery of our web solution services. During 2004 and 2005, the effort has mainly focused on migration to the .NET platform, including new advanced search engine and extended subscriptions services. Two weeks ago, once again we were chosen preferred supplier in a new public purchase. This frame agreement will be valid until 2009.
