Design
Sublime uses a pragmatic approach based on two principles when designing websites: usability and attraction. For us it is outmost important that the visitors will find the website easy to use. We try to reflect the content and content structures in the design in a way that facilitates search and navigation.
By being consistent in how to present links, icons, headers etc and stick to de-facto standards regarding html coding and availability, our design support the visitors’ core functionality – fast and accurate information gathering. As a consequence, we try to avoid flashy elements or other spectacular features that may divert the visitors’ attention or slow down the system.
On the other hand it is important that the visitor will have a joyful experience while using the website. Together with the customer we try to capture the spirit of the company by defining key words which will be translated into design patterns. These patterns will lay a foundation for creating web attraction to the companies’ target groups and stimulate re-visits.
